The Targeting page allows you to view and granularly control who you are reaching out to in your campaign. The page has two sections:

People for Ava to target

Each list added to the campaign shows up as a card with the list’s name, its source and the number of contacts “pending” outreach. List metrics
  • Contacted: Leads from the list that Ava has contacted at least once in the campaign
  • Disqualified: Leads excluded from the campaign. Possible reasons: an email bounce, a failed enrichment, disqualifications from the functions on the Settings page
  • Pending: Leads not yet contacted by Ava in this campaign
Preview leads
  • Provides a preview of all the leads in the list
  • Users can search for specific leads across the lists using the search bar, visit the lead profile by clicking on the lead, or remove the lead from the campaign (or adding to DNC)

AI qualification

Ava uses AI to research each prospect across the web before contacting them and only reaches out to prospects who pass every qualification rule. This prevents wasted outreach on leads who match your ICP filters but don’t actually fit your product. How it works: The user defines qualification criteria in plain English. These are natural language conditions that Ava evaluates per lead.
  • Criteria can be inclusive (“Qualify only if: Lead works in a SaaS company”) or exclusive (“Disqualify if: Lead is from an agency”).
  • A lead must pass ALL criteria to be contacted. Ava researches each lead across the web to determine whether they meet each condition, then makes a qualify/disqualify decision with reasoning.
Cost: 1 credit per criteria per prospect. So 3 criteria for each lead costs 3 credits per prospect. Default state: OFF. When toggled on, users add criteria rows and can preview results before applying. Fallback behavior: If Ava can’t find enough information to evaluate a criteria for a given lead, the user chooses the default behavior: either treat the lead as qualified for that criteria (optimistic, more leads get through) or disqualify them (conservative, fewer but higher-quality leads).
