The connector is an early feature, and we are still improving it.
The Artisan connector in Claude lets you work in your Artisan account from a Claude chat. You can search for prospects, build and add to lists, enrich contact data, draft a Campaign, edit its Targeting and Messaging, and check how many credits you have left, all by asking Claude.

Connecting Artisan to Claude

If your Claude account is part of a Team or Enterprise organization, an organization owner needs to add the Artisan connector before you can connect to it.
To add the connector, you need an Artisan account you can sign in to and a Claude account on a plan that supports custom connectors. See Claude’s plans.
You’ll need Artisan’s MCP server URL to add the connector: https://api-dashboard.artisan.co/mcp
  1. Go to claude.ai and click your profile icon in the bottom left corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Connectors.
  4. Click Add in the top right corner.
  5. Select Add custom connector.
  6. Give a name to the connector.
  7. Enter the MCP server URL: https://api-dashboard.artisan.co/mcp
  8. Select Add.
  9. Select Connect.
  10. Sign in to your Artisan account.
  11. Select the organization you want Claude to work with.
  12. Select Allow access.
You will see the connector appear in your list of connectors, and you can start using it in any Claude chat. The connector gives Claude 30 tools. You control what Claude is allowed to do with each one. In Claude, open your connectors, click Artisan, and go to Tool permissions. For each tool, you can choose to always allow it, ask for approval each time, or block it.

What you can do once Artisan is connected to Claude

Finding the right people

This is how you find who to reach before anything goes into a list or a campaign. You describe the kind of person you want to reach in plain English, and Claude turns that into a set of filters and searches Artisan’s B2B contact database for you. You can look up a lead already in your account by name or company to view their profile and campaign activity. You can also give Claude a person’s name, and it will find their contact details, like an email address or phone number. The person doesn’t need to be in your account already.
Enriching contact details uses credits.

Building and enriching lists

Claude can build a new list based on the criteria you describe, add leads to an existing list, and show you the lists in your account along with their size and activity. Before you enrich a list, Claude shows you which fields can be filled in, how many rows are missing each one, and what it would cost in credits. Enrichment and export both run in the background, so Claude monitors them, notifies you when they’re done, and provides a download link once a CSV is ready.

Creating and running campaigns

Claude can create a campaign and set its target audience based on a description you provide in plain English. It can apply one of Artisan’s sequence templates, read the sequence back to you, and rewrite the copy of any step. The campaign’s messaging is editable too, including the one-liner, pain points, proof points, and calls to action, along with settings such as the daily lead quota, sending schedule, and how replies are handled. At any point, you can ask what the campaign still needs before it can launch. For a campaign that’s already live, you can pause, resume, stop, rename, or archive it and check how the leads within it are doing.
Claude can’t launch or publish a campaign for you. Changes it makes to a sequence, messaging, or settings are saved as a draft, so they don’t affect a campaign that’s already running. You review and publish those changes in Artisan when you’re ready to make them go live.

Checking your account

Claude can tell you which Artisan user and org you’re signed in as. It can also tell you how many credits your org has left, which is worth checking before a large search or enrichment. Both of these only read your account. They never change anything.
