Your primary mailbox is the email account Ava sends from and uses to detect replies and booked meetings.

Connect your primary mailbox

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Scroll to the Outreach Channels card
  3. Open the Primary Mailbox tab
  4. Click Connect Mailbox
  5. Choose Connect using Google or Connect using Microsoft
  6. Sign in and authorize access
Once connected, add:
  • Your meeting booking link
  • Your email signature
  • Your daily send limit (editable on the sender’s profile)
Your meeting booking link should be on the same email account as your primary mailbox. If it’s on a different email, Ava can’t verify when meetings are booked and will keep following up.

Primary vs secondary mailboxes

  • Primary mailbox: your real work email. Used for high-trust outreach and reply detection.
  • Secondary mailboxes: purchased domains used to scale volume without harming your primary domain’s deliverability.
Secondary mailboxes are purchased separately and take roughly 2 weeks to warm up. See Mailbox purchasing.

Turning off primary mailbox sending

If you only want to send from secondary mailboxes, go to campaign settings → Advanced and turn off primary.
